When Courtney Wingate, the director of the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, stumbled upon a group of adorable pups, she knew she couldn’t just leave them there. Among the group was a particularly charming pup named Burreaux, catching Courtney’s attention. She promptly called Sarrah Walton, a reliable volunteer who came to the rescue and saved the puppies. As a tribute to Louisiana State University Football players, Sarrah named the trio after them.
The three animals underwent regular medical examinations at the veterinary clinic and appeared to be in good health. However, upon returning to their rescue center, one of them, Burreaux, suddenly became ill. Swift action was taken, and he was rushed back to the animal hospital where he received treatment and eventually made a full recovery.
When the rescue was ready to put the puppies up for adoption, they turned to social media as a way to showcase their unique abilities and increase their chances of finding forever homes. Joe, who had a natural talent for playing fetch, was quickly adopted after a video of him in action was posted online. Staff at the shelter decided to highlight Berreuax’s lovable personality by sharing a video of him flashing his adorable smile. He was always smiling, showing just how badly he wanted a loving home. It’s heartwarming to know that someone adopted this cute little dog and gave him the love and care he deserves. We can’t help but love that infectious smile! ❤️❤️❤️
